Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to beat McGill. She won the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight in the organization. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with the ground and pound strategy and earned the TKO second-round victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
